Android 64-bit Update!

Sonic SMS Remake 1, 2 and 3 are now available in 64-bit versions for Android devices and TV.

The Dimensional Stages:

After run past the Goal Plate with over 50 rings, in this 3rd game, the Special Stage was renamed the Dimensional Stage, where the player will collect the Time Stones (the game's new powerful stones). In the story, the Time Stones were spread across 7 Sega Master System games. The games have been redesigned to fit the new challenges.

The Final Game

Sonic SMS Remake is a series of fan games, with a controversial title. "Sega Master System Remake" or just "SMS Remake", is a new universe, with a new perspective on the original title games.
But why "Remake" if the game isn't? The answer is simple! We have a double meaning to this name (The game maintains most of the original aspects of the original title, only modernizing it with innovations and updates from the Sonic series over the 30 years and with a new story). The aim of the series is not to replace the original games, it is to bring an alternative version.

SAGE 2023 and beyond!

Sonic SMS Remake trilogy memorial at SAGE 2023 (Sonic Amateur Games Expo). A notice to fans who are waiting for news: "Sonic SMS Remake 3: Timelines" is not cancelled!
The game is being developed more slowly. This will be the final game series, so it needs to be done in more detail.

Android on handheld consoles!

We are in a new era, where portable retro consoles run Android! It is a great pleasure to see Sonic SMS Remake games run natively. I recommend changing the screen size to "Retro" in the options, for better immersion in 4:3 resolution.
In the picture we can see an Anbernic RG353V console.

Tiny Animal Place

Inspired by Tiny Chao Garden from Sonic Advance. This mini game is an exclusive zone of the remake mode.

Just named "Tiny Animal Place", it will be a 3rd possibility to get extra lives in Sonic 3 Timelines.

The others would be:

1st. Collect over 100 rings

2nd. Special Stages (collect more than 100 rings/spheres)

How to enter this special zone?
When finishing a zone with an "A" or "S" ranking in the results, when the player returns to Time Warp, a rainbow-colored ring will appear next to the current zone's portal ring.

Currently, I'm creating new mechanics for zones, new scenery, color palettes and new paths for classic zones.
This year I want to dedicate myself only to tests and new concepts for Sonic SMS Remake.

The Sonic Remake Band

The first concept for the story of Sonic The Hedgehog, was the protagonist being a lead singer of a rock band. However, this idea was discarded shortly before the release of the final game in 1991.
We do not know if both games were developed simultaneously for the Master System and Genesis. But the Ancient company left an Easter Egg in the end credits of the Master System version.

In Encore mode, we can find a big surprise!
The Sonic Remake Band. Yea! This looks really cool. In this fan remake universe, we can clearly see this concept alive.
This update will be available soon. And I take the opportunity to say that I'm working on a new Feedback platform of our games, for players and developers.

To the fans who asked me a lot for the remake of Sonic Chaos and Sonic Triple Trouble, know that the best of these 2 games were merged into Sonic 3 SMS Remake - Timelines! A new theme was created to join them with some references from Sonic CD and universes from other Master System and Game Gear games, characters from the future, new items and gameplay modes, to make the final game of the series memorable!

Speed Team

• Sonic: Drop Dash (jump and hold the action button down to the ground)
• Shadow: Jump Dash (jump 2x)
• Silver: Levitate (Jump 2x and move with directional), Phantom (Jump 2x and hold action button)

Power Team

• Amy: Hammer Drop (jump 2x)
• Blaze: Spin Fire (jump and hold the action button on air)
• Rouge: Fly (jump 2x and press action button to flying), Red Star Rings Detector (hold up or down in the ground)

All characters will have Spin Dash!

New monitors!

The new monitors are references to the Sonic 3 Genesis, check out the updates:

• 10 extra rings
• 20 extra rings
• Ring shield: change the color of the counter to blue, when losing the rings, they spread around the zone
• Light shield: protects from damage once
• Magnet shield: attracts the rings, around to the character
• Spring shoes: power up for jump high when stepping on the ground
• Rocket shoes: power up for fly through the stage in a straight line, when hitting the wall the power is lost
• Change team: change between speed team or power team
• Joker: random between 10, 20 extra rings and Eggman
• 5 extra minutes: max rings on competition mode
• Eggman: trap
• Extra life

Time warp

Inspired by the Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic Generations games, Time Warp is where we travel through time to the levels. In this room we can find act zones to collect red rings to unlock new passages, some mission acts and other mini acts to collect items. Time Stones will be collected at Special Stages within zones.

Let's meet the newest protagonist of Sonic 3 SMS Remake - Timelines!

Story:

Silver is a hedgehog from the future who came to stop chaos! He tells us that Dr. Eggman will find a new source of power, the Time Stones, which allows time travel within his dimension, changing the timelines. So Silver came to help Sonic and his friends find the Time Stones before Dr. Eggman!
