In Remake mode, each zone has a challenge act, which is worth a Red Star Ring.
The Bonus Stage now alternates between the Rocket Spheres and Tiny Animal Place stages.
To enter the challenge for extra lives, simply find a big rainbow ring.
Purple sphere replaces all others with blue for a few seconds.
If you grant the animals' wishes, they will be happy. Collect smiles to exchange for extra lives before time runs out.
The old Special Stage on the goal plate has been removed. To enter the Dimensional Stage, collect 50 rings as in previous games! The reverse plate has been changed to multiples of 10 (10, 20, 30, 40...).
Other changes: Red Star Ring detector; extra life when reaching S Rank; new team names; empty monitor.
