Today is a special day!
It's been 5 years since I published this blog with the aim of remaking Sonic from Master System to native Android.
The 8-bit Sonic games are legendary and very famous in some countries, but the quality of the projects had a lot to be desired, not being much appreciated by the community.
In 2018 we were pioneers in publishing Sonic fan games for mobile devices. Before, they were all exclusive to computers. The Project: Sonic SMS Remake for Android, was born to innovate the community with: Widescreen, native mobile, new and unexplored characters, teams gameplay and local network multiplayer.
Thank you all for collaborating with the development of this new trilogy of Sonic fan games.
This year 2023 I will take a break from the project, maybe there will be no new updates for Sonic SMS Remake 3, I decided to publish it when it is complete and no longer in parts. I'm making some major changes to it, cutting some things and adding others, just for the fun of it. This can take some time, but it's always worth the wait. Meanwhile, we have Sonic 1 and 2 complete at 60 FPS!!!
